About us

South Perth Specialist Skin Cancer Centre is a private Dermatology practice located in South Perth, Western Australia. Its main focus is the diagnosis and management of skin cancer.

Dr Tim Elliott (Principal)

In addition to his specialist Dermatology training, Dr Tim Elliott has undertaken extra training in the USA. In 1994 he was awarded the Fellowship of Advanced Dermatologic Surgery from the prestigious Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, Oregon, USA.

Dr Elliott’s specific expertise relates to the treatment of skin cancer with special emphasis on surgery (including Mohs surgery) but also encompassing laser and other innovative therapies.

Dr Elliott is actively involved in the teaching and training of Dermatologists, both in his private practice and through his role as the Surgical Censor with the Australasian College of Dermatologists.
Dr Elliott is committed to continuing professional development. In 2008/2009 he undertook an extended period of sabbatical leave to attend conferences and visit state of the art skin cancer facilities overseas. He has thus introduced many newly acquired ideas and technologies into the new practice .
